Who said problems?

Leo rescued some of the recordings, so we don't have to change anything ^^ ..Our project is getting better every day! We are thinking about making a web site, and then people can put their own emotional maps. Tomorrow is the presentation, and the project is practically finnished. Leo made the map, and today Nacho and me were making a kind of presentation for the web site with a software called "Swish"..I hope that everybody will like our map! Anyway, the experience with this group has been very succesful!!

Our idea is very developed, we started last day to ask people, and we got 9 recorded answers but..some of the files have "dissapeared"..it seems that we have overwritted the files or something, because we haven't got them! On the other hand, we have hundreds of pictures..(five cameras can make many many pictures! ) and Lisa likes a lot our idea, so we are not dissapointed because of the sound problems.
Everything will be ok!

New workshop and new group! The kramzon group was not bad, but this one is much better! Stefan, Leo, Juan, Nacho and me..we are working very well, we have a lot of good ideas, and everybody is doing things. We are talking everyday about the project for hours, and I'm sure that we are going to do a great project. The idea we are going to develop is to make a special random map of Malmö. We thought about writting a song and making the videoclip of it, but after we decided to make something with pictures and sound. I can explain the meaning of "special random map"..We have to ask to one person in the street which is his/her favourite place in Malmö, and then, we have to go to that place, take pictures and ask another person for continue our route. We are going to record their answers, so, I don't know of we are going to get so many people..

If the two previous workshops were, like I said in the first post, a kind of game comparing with the spanish subjects, this third workshop was really a game. It was very funny, 140 people between 18 and 30 years playing kindergarden games and making noise around the city. The faces of the people who were on the street were really interesting, everybody looking at us like "what are you doing?"..and some scared faces when we start to run after "the military march" near Stortorget.
It was a really cool workshop, with a lot of funny ideas, like " The modern man" (140 mobile phones ringing at the same time with different sounds), "Balloon polution" (140 university students with balloons walking on the street and making noise with them at Gustav Adolf's Torg) or " Happy Fools" (saying hello to every person we saw on the way back to K3 and smiling all the time).
Some people asked to us why we were doing this things, and it was hard for them to understand that it was our work for the university, they thought that we were liying them or telling a joke.
My thoughts about the workshop..I think that it's the best workshop we have done, and it will be hard to do another one better.
Good ideas and good organization, so good workshop.
I haven't got more pictures of this day, I will post some when I'll have!

The Kramzon

Playing football at the Central Station and placing a hugging area at Lilla Torg were the two ideas which had more approval between the members of the group. Finnally, we decided to make the Kramzon because we didn't want to disturb anybody and we didn't want people to miss their train either. I thought that our idea was not going to work, but more people than I expected hugged each other. A lot of people just kept on walking, other people looked everywhere trying to find who put the hugging area there...but there were two funny reactions. The first one was the people who ran out of the area because they read late the Kramzon poster. The second funny reaction was when people walked around the lines of the area. They saw something strange on the ground, and instead of crossing our zone, they walked around it. But the best thing of the day was when an old man was inside the area and Hannah ran and hugged him. He said: oh! sometimes you get lucky! and he was happy for all the week, I think.
We can say that our idea was a kind of social experiment, and we tried to provocate people, because I think that swedish people is not very fond of hugging each other on the street.
So, I think that our idea worked, even having a bomb in Gustav Adolf's square. We didn't know anything about this until the teachers came to see our work.
Maybe our Kramzon was good to take away the stress or the tension of the bomb news.

Jacket-chair

For our first workshop we were supposed to create a low-tech product, and this, this thing, is my idea. I can explain why I made this “jacket-chair”. In our student accommodation we don’t have internet (yet), but if we go to a common room and we open the window we can connect to a net of the building we have in front. Last night I was there and it was so cold, and then I had this idea. It can be used also to work in winter if your window is broken (or you can call somebody to repair it, it’s up to you).
This kind of homework it’s very different of the things I have to do in Spain, for us this is a kind of game or, at least, not a hard homework. It’s very different the structure of the subjects too, only one in one month and two hours the day we have more things to do. In Spain we have five or six subjects at the same time, and you have to go all the morning or all the afternoon, you can choose, but you have to be there six hours listening to a teacher who is speaking all the time.
I like the idea of not having a fix schedule, is something impossible to thing about in Spain, but sometimes is not very good because we depend of internet to look the time we have to go to the university. Maybe it will be better when we will have internet at home.
